Overview
Carola Knoll is an experienced senior manager in the International Tax Department at Kaufman Rossin, and part of the Tax Advisory Services Group. She facilitates the planning, execution, direction and completion of international tax projects in a wide variety of industries. Carola focuses on real estate and financial inbound/outbound investors, high net worth private clients and US companies owned by foreign parents in the manufacturing and technology space.
She trains and supervises staff in the preparation of a variety of tax returns and international information reporting. In addition to the tax compliance for Kaufman Rossin clients, Carola assists with planning and consulting for tax-efficient structuring of their international transactions with the goal to minimize US and foreign taxes.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Carola served in a variety of international tax and tax compliance roles in New York CPA firms. Her expertise includes corporate, partnership, individual and estate and gift tax returns, as well as tax compliance for non-profit entities.
Carola earned her Bachelor's in Accounting from Michigan State University, where she also majored in German and minored in Japanese. She is a frequent speaker and author on tax topics, and recent Chair of the NYSSCPA International Taxation Committee and co-Chair of that committee’s annual conference. She is a New York CPA.
