Overview
Chase Orthwein is a manager in Kaufman Rossin’s financial services assurance and consulting department. Boasting a wealth of expertise accumulated over a decade long career in the financial services industry, he specializes in providing audit and assurance services to hedge funds, private equity funds, real estate funds, and fund of funds.
He has a profound understanding of the valuation and related disclosure requirements of investments in securities, derivatives, private equity, and real estate. His attention to detail and commitment to excellence enables him to provide invaluable guidance to SEC and non-SEC registrants. Throughout all phases of the fund lifecycle, he manages a variety of engagements with the goal of going above and beyond for his clients’ needs.
Chase is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Florida and Texas, a member of the Florida Institution of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA), and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He also serves as the Board Secretary for the Palm Trail Place Condominium Association (PTPCA) and previously served as Board Treasurer for the Palm Trail Yacht Club Condominium Association (PTYCCA).
He earned his Master of Accounting and Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business.
