David Garcia is a Principal in Kaufman Rossin's Forensic, Advisory, and Valuation Services practice. David has more than 15 years of experience providing individuals, companies, and law firms with litigation support services, including economic damage computations and forensic investigative services. He is a Certified Public Accountant, licensed in the state of Florida, a Certified Valuation Analyst, and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
He has extensive experience in fraud investigations, lost profit calculations, commercial damage models, and professional malpractice. He specializes in economic damage computations, including lost profits, lost business value, and disgorgement damages.
David provides a wide variety of litigation support consulting services, including but not limited to expert witness testimony, case strategy, deposition, and trial assistance. Additional experience includes fraud investigations, valuation, due diligence, accounting, and business consulting services.
He also has a wide range of expertise in providing traditional attestation, accounting, and business consulting services to clients in various industries, including Financial Services, Retail, Construction, Non-profits, Property Management, Securities, and Insurance. In addition, David has participated in US GAAP and IFRS audits of financial statements for public and private companies.
He received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Accounting from the University of Florida.
