Overview
Dennis Fitzpatrick joined Kaufman Rossin in 1995. Dennis retired from active practice, and now holds the status of Principal Emeritus in the financial services department.
Dennis provided his tax expertise to many of the Firm’s clients in various industries as the firm’s specialist in taxation for pass-through entities and hedge fund businesses. He has written many articles and presented seminars on topics ranging from cancellation of debt for distressed real estate investments to the tax effects of recent federal legislation.
In addition, he is licensed to practice law in Florida, in the Federal Court for the Southern District of Florida and in the United States Tax Court.
He received his Juris Doctor from Hastings School of Law, and Bachelor’s degrees in Economics and Environmental Planning from the University of California Santa Cruz. Dennis is the Director of the Jacobs Aquatic Center Foundation.
