Overview
Eric Mercado is a Manager in Kaufman Rossin’s Risk Advisory Services practice, specifically working with the Big Data Analytics team assisting clients in the banking industry.
He has extensive banking experience in risk management and IT development with over 15 years of servicing financial institutions. He has applied model validation, lookbacks, rules replication and tuning, and analytics that can help clients address emerging risks. As well as implemented and improved processes related to lifting the regulatory order for Bank Secrecy Act Anti-Money Laundering compliance.
In addition, he has direct experience in the customization and development of the Financial Risk Management (FCRM) application that can monitor bank activity for potential risk and conduct customer risk ratings.
Eric is an ICB Certified AML & Fraud Professional and an Audit & Regulatory Compliance Active ACAMS member. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society from Ramapo College of New Jersey and is fluent in Spanish.
