Overview
Farrah is a senior manager in Kaufman Rossin's Risk Advisory Services practice, where she provides financial institutions with a variety of advisory services, including risk management, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Farrah worked as a financial examiner at the Florida Office of Financial Regulation. As Examiner-in-Charge, she led teams to conduct safety and soundness examinations/audits of domestic and international banks. She communicated directly with the Board of Directors and senior management to review examination findings, discuss corrective programs, and obtain commitments for the correction of deficiencies.
Farrah has extensive experience assessing financial institutions’ compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti- Money Laundering Act (BSA/AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), and USA PATRIOT Act, among others. Farrah employs her experience to train, evaluate, and mentor less tenured regulators.
Farrah earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Florida International University and went on to complete the Risk Management Training Program at the FDIC Corporate University.
