Gabriela Metz Chavez is a manager in Kaufman Rossin’s risk advisory services practice. She assists clients with readiness and attestation services across industries including healthcare, technology, and financial services.
She specializes in cybersecurity, safeguarding digital assets of organizations through IT governance, risk assessments, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) audits. Throughout her 10 years of experience, Gabriela has performed over 400 audits and readiness assessments. She is a trusted advisor by assessing and evaluating an organization’s IT and business systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
She is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is a TECHNOLOchicas ambassador for the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), a non-profit organization aimed to increase participation of girls and women in computing. Gabriela volunteers to mentor aspiring professionals, empowering them to pursue careers in cybersecurity and information technology.
