Overview
Harold Guido is a Senior Manager in the Financial Services Assurance and Consulting practice. He has extensive experience providing audit, attestation, and advisory services to entities with a focus in the financial services field, including hedge funds, private equity funds, commodity pools, real estate funds, offshore funds, and registered investment advisors. He also works with investment advisors on compliance with the SEC Custody Rule by performing surprise examinations, and independent representative services.
Before rejoining Kaufman Rossin, he held the position of Director of Accounting and Operations for a private investment firm with $700+ MM in Assets under Management (AUM). He managed over 30 customizable portfolios in complex onshore and offshore fund structures that were invested in alternative investments, including but not limited to, private credit, real estate lending and assets, private equity, small business lending, specialty finance, niche areas such as aircraft leasing and life settlements. He was responsible for overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day operations, including NAV reporting, oversight of fund administration, audits, investor services, and tax compliance, and preparing and reviewing financial statements.
Harold is active in the community and serves as an executive committee member of the Young Leaders of the United Way of Miami.
He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a Bachelor of Accounting from Florida International University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountant and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
