James (Andy) Osteen is a Principal in Kaufman Rossin’s estate, trust, and exempt organization practice. He provides tax compliance, advisory, and consulting services for various clients, including high-net-worth individuals, estates, trusts, and tax-exempt organizations.
He specializes in individual, S-corporation, family limited partnership, fiduciary, gift, estate and generation-skipping transfer taxation and planning for foreign and domestic clients.
Andy helps fiduciaries with estate and trust tax compliance and administration issues. He also assists foreign and domestic clients with offshore and onshore voluntary disclosure compliance.
Before joining Kaufman Rossin in 2012, Andy worked at a South Florida-based CPA firm.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is also treasurer of the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami and a member of the Greater Miami Tax Institute and the Florida Bar Association.
