Overview
Janet Fifer joined Kaufman Rossin in 1996 and is an associate principal in the estate, trust and exempt organizations practice. Janet is in charge of fiduciary income tax compliance and oversees fiduciary accountings prepared in accordance with Florida law.
She also oversees the tax aspects of the firm’s tax exempt organization clients, including preparation of annual tax returns and applications for tax exempt status.
She has presented numerous continuing education seminars on various tax-related topics to firm members and has conducted seminars for state and local CPA professional societies. She also assists in training new department members on estate, trust and exempt organization tax compliance requirements and tax return preparation.
Janet is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and Texas. She is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA) and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and a member of the AICPA's non-profit section.
