Jorge Lopez, CPA

In his role, Jorge manages all aspects of the firm’s financial operations, working closely with the CFO and COO on executing key strategic, business and operational decisions. He leads the firm’s internal accounting team, focusing on safeguarding the firm’s assets, cash flow and KPI monitoring, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, risk mitigation, and financial reporting.

Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Jorge held various financial leadership positions, most recently as corporate controller at a fintech firm based in South Florida. During his public accounting career with Big Four accounting firms, he provided audit and transaction advisory services to clients across diverse industries, including technology, energy, real estate, and financial services. In these roles, he specialized in comprehensive financial management, technical and operational accounting, SEC reporting, M&A due diligence, managing investor relationships, and leading global teams.

Jorge earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Texas.
