Forensic, Advisory and Valuation Services
José Cuneo started with Kaufman Rossin in 2012 and is a supervisor in the Forensic, Advisory and Valuation Services department. José performs forensic investigations of public, private, government and non-profit entities. His practice includes preparation of prospective financial information; due diligence; lost profits, damage calculation and analysis; breach of contract disputes; financial fraud investigations; and embezzlement investigations.
In addition, he has assisted Latin American Governments in cases conducting forensic analysis of bank transactions and the tracing of funds to offshore accounts in various banking institutions. José also provides consulting on accounting and general commercial matters.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Florida, Certified Valuation Analyst, Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified in Financial Forensics. Jose attended University of Miami where he earned his Master of Professional Accounting. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Barry University.
He is bilingual in English and Spanish.
José is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
