Overview
Kalani is a director in Kaufman Rossin’s tax department, where she assists private clients and businesses of all stages of growth with complex tax matters.
Kalani is experienced in providing federal, multi-state, international tax compliance and consulting services to companies across various industries, including private equity investments and multi-tiered structures. She helps investors and asset managers navigate complex federal, multi-state and international tax regulations for onshore and offshore investments. She is also assisting to establish Kaufman Rossin’s tax practice in India.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin in 2014, Kalani gained expertise at a big four accounting firm working on one of the biggest private equity funds in the country.
Kalani earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University and is working on a Masters of Taxation from Golden Gate University. She is a Certified Public Accountant in Virginia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
