Overview
Kanishk Mehta is a senior manager in the risk advisory services practices at Kaufman Rossin. He has over 20 years of experience in risk management and consulting across various industries including banking, healthcare and technology.
He specializes in cyber risk management strategy development and implementation, regulatory compliance, board and-executive-level reporting and risk assessment/remediation. Kanishk leads high-functioning teams in the planning and execution of risk management activities, including conducting program maturity assessments and operationalizing Target Operating Models (TOM) between lines of defense.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Kanishk led the cybersecurity, risk and regulatory practice of a large multinational professional services firm. There, he managed the development of a global third-party risk assessment delivery center that expediated the review and validation of supplier risk and control postures for Fortune 500 companies.
He is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and a member of InfraGard, an FBI-affiliated nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening national security and community resilience.
He earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Rutgers University and a degree in Management Information Systems from Stevens Institute of Technology.
