Overview
Katerina Alonso is the Manager of Talent Acquisition at Kaufman Rossin, bringing over five years of experience in talent acquisition and human resources. She partners closely with firm leadership to oversee full-cycle recruitment, develop hiring strategies, and attract top talent across the organization. Fluent in English and Spanish, Katerina serves as a trusted resource for hiring leaders, candidates, and external recruiting partners.
In addition to leading the firm’s recruitment efforts, Katerina oversees Kaufman Rossin’s University Relations program, building partnerships with colleges and universities to strengthen the firm’s early talent pipeline. She is passionate about creating an exceptional candidate experience, building strong relationships with hiring teams, and continuously improving recruiting processes that support the firm’s continued growth.
Beyond recruiting, Katerina plays an active role in workforce strategy. She leads headcount forecasting and pipeline development efforts, works with firm leaders to identify skills gaps before they become obstacles, and conducts market research to keep KR’s compensation practices competitive. She also supports the firm’s talent retention efforts through stay interviews and at-risk employee conversations, turning those insights into meaningful trend analysis that informs people decisions across the organization.
Katerina earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Florida International University.
