Overview
Katy Sakkal is a manager in Kaufman Rossin’s Entrepreneurial Services practice, where she serves as a trusted advisor with 17 years of tax, accounting, financial reporting, and consulting experience for individuals and closely held businesses across all stages of growth.
Katy began her career working with Kaufman Rossin principal, Stewart Liebling, who built his own successful practice prior to joining the firm. During her time with Stewart’s practice, she developed her specialty in individual and business taxation and consulting.
Katy earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Florida. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). Additionally, she is an active member of the firm’s Employee Resource Groups – , THRIVE, which focuses on mental health and fitness – and PRISM, which provides community and support to the firm’s LGBTQ+ professionals and allies. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
