Overview
Leonardo Guardado is a manager in Kaufman Rossin’s Tax Services Advisory group. With several years of experience in tax consulting and business advisory, he supports both public and private companies across various industries, including manufacturing, consumer goods, distribution, retail, technology, real estate, and financial services.
In his current position, Leo focuses on ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes. He also plays a key role in assisting clients with the preparation and review of income tax provisions for financial statement audits. He also has extensive expertise in corporate tax compliance, consolidated return preparation, and multi-state tax consulting. Taking a holistic approach, he provides strategic guidance to help clients navigate complex tax regulations with confidence. Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin, Leo gained valuable experience at two of the Big Four accounting firms, where he advised large multinational companies across various industries.
Leo is a Certified Public Accountant in both Florida and Minnesota and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in accounting from Florida International University.
