Overview
Robert Chiste is a Senior Manager in the Assurance Services practice at Kaufman Rossin, where he has been serving clients since 2016. He began his career at one of the Big Four accounting firms and brings over a decade of experience in public accounting.
At Kaufman Rossin, Robert provides assurance services—including financial statement audits and reviews—in accordance with PCAOB and AICPA standards. His client portfolio spans a wide range of industries, including manufacturing and distribution, hospitality, retail, non-profit, and real estate.
A Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida, Robert is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants (FICPA). He currently serves on the FICPA’s Accounting Principles and Auditing Standards Committee, and in 2021, was selected as one of 16 young CPAs to participate in the organization’s inaugural Leadership Academy.
Robert is also deeply involved in leadership and community engagement. He chairs the University of Miami Accounting Department’s Young Leaders Group, a role he has held since 2018. In 2023, he was initiated into the University of Miami Citizens Board, following his service on the University’s Young Alumni Leaders Council.
He holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from the University of Miami.
