Overview
Vanessa Skody is a senior manager in the tax advisory services practice at Kaufman Rossin where she brings over a decade of experience to her clients. She focuses on partnership tax consulting and compliance in various industries, including private equity and real estate.
Vanessa has garnered an extensive understanding of numerous tax strategies from her time at prior firms. Her areas of focus have included flow-through entities, consolidated subchapter C and ASC 740, mergers and acquisitions, individuals, and state and local tax.
In her current role, she is focused on consulting and compliance across many subchapter K subject matter areas, including but not limited to transactions, capital events, and waterfalls.
Vanessa earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Florida and her Master of Accountancy from Florida Atlantic University. Additionally, she is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She is fluent in English and Spanish.
