Overview
Zachary Siegel is a senior manager in the assurance and advisory practice at Kaufman Rossin, bringing over a decade of public accounting experience.
In his current role, Zack specializes in navigating and researching complex technical accounting matters, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, asset acquisitions and disposals, distinguishing liabilities from equity, and contracts on an entity’s own equity. He also serves as the Firm’s internal champion for ASC 842, Leases, consulting on implementation and ongoing application of the standard. He enjoys researching nuanced accounting issues and providing solutions for client-facing projects.
Zack also assists with financial reporting by preparing private company financial statements and drafting footnote disclosures. He leads engagements across a range of industries, including real estate and construction, technology, online advertising, retail, and manufacturing and distribution.
Prior to joining Kaufman Rossin in 2017, Zack worked at a mid-sized national public accounting firm in New York, serving both public and private companies for more than four years. Earlier in his career, he was an accounting manager for a small business in the wood flooring industry. This hands-on experience helped him develop a deep understanding of the real estate and construction sectors.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in both New York and Florida and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
