Albert Primo Named Technology Development Principal at Kaufman Rossin
Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced the promotion of Albert Primo, CPA, to technology development principal.
In his new role and as chief innovation officer, Primo leads Kaufman Rossin’s innovation initiative, leveraging technology to improve the client and employee experience, offer more sophisticated services and find ways to work better, faster and smarter across the firm.
Under his leadership, the firm’s technology development department has created tools and streamlined processes to transform traditional business and support the growth of other practice areas, such as risk advisory, business consulting, outsourced services and forensic advisory and valuation.
Primo is a technology-minded leader who joined Kaufman Rossin in 1998 and oversees accounting and tax services for entrepreneurial businesses, advising them on ways to successfully reach their business goals. His technical expertise includes app ecosystem selection and design, accounting system implementation and training, and systems conversion/implementation for start-ups, technology-based companies, the financial services industry, the real estate sector, the entertainment industry, and businesses of all sizes.
Primo is a member of the Xero Partner Advisory Council, and he serves on the board of directors for Locust Projects, a non-profit exhibition space in Miami’s Design District for contemporary visual artists.
He is a Certified Public Accountant in New Hampshire. He graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and International Business, and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
