James R. Kaufman Named a 2015 Ultimate CEO of Miami-Dade

James R. Kaufman, CPA, founding principal and CEO of Kaufman Rossin, has been selected as a 2015 Ultimate CEO of Miami-Dade County by the South Florida Business Journal.

The award recognizes the top CEOs by region who have played major roles in their county’s success. Each of the honorees has been a leader within his or her organization and in the business community. The awards ceremony will be held Sept. 17, 2015, at the Marriott Harbor Beach Ft. Lauderdale Resort.

Kaufman co-founded the firm in 1962 and has been recognized as one of the South Florida Business Journal’s Top 100 Leaders in Accounting. He graduated from the University of Florida and is a member of the University Hall of Fame. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of Florida.
