Kaufman Rossin Awarded ‘Best Health & Wellbeing Program’ by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce

Kaufman Rossin, one of the top CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., won the “Best Health & Wellbeing Program” award at the Excellence in HR Awards ceremony hosted by the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce.

The Excellence in HR Awards honors human resources professionals and teams who are responsible for combining the essential components of diversity, talent management, retention and teambuilding to create the perfect blend for their companies. Kaufman Rossin was nominated by the firm’s health insurance representative, Sean Dugan of Hays Companies.

Kaufman Rossin’s wellness programs include annual health fairs as well as an onsite gym, massage, yoga and physical therapy. And during tax season, the busiest time of the year, an annual weight-loss competition and pedometer contest motivate employees to stay active. The firm has also given employees the opportunity to participate in mindfulness training in collaboration with the University of Miami.

“It is a privilege to be recognized for our wellness initiatives,” said Joy A. Batteen, director of Human Resources at Kaufman Rossin. “We strive to keep our employees healthy, happy and motivated every day.”
