Kaufman Rossin Celebrates Non-Profit Organizations in South Florida

Kaufman Rossin hosted its first annual “A Toast to Non-Profits” event in Fort Lauderdale on February 20, 2014, and its fifth annual event in Miami on March 6, 2014. The event unites non-profit leaders in South Florida for one night of food, wine and conversation to recognize their impact on the community.

In total, the two events brought together more than 115 guests from a variety of non-profit organizations in South Florida. In Miami, non-profits included the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Miami, The Children’s Trust, Bakehouse Art Complex, The Women’s Fund and Baptist Health Foundation. In Fort Lauderdale, Voices for Children, United Way of Broward County, Jewish Community Services and LifeNet4Families were among the organizations represented.

Kaufman Rossin encourages its employees to get involved in the community. Firm professionals are involved in more than 250 organizations in South Florida. “A Toast to Non-Profits” is an opportunity to celebrate a shared commitment to social responsibility, one of the firm’s core values.

“We love getting together with people who dedicate themselves to improving our community, and celebrating their contributions,” said Janet Kyle Altman, marketing principal with Kaufman Rossin. “The volunteers and board members who support the non-profits in our community make South Florida a better place to live.”
