Kaufman Rossin Designates Professionals as Associate Principals and Directors

Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. and the largest independent accounting firm in Florida, has designated two professionals as both associate principal and director and five additional professionals as director. All were previously senior managers at the firm.

Designated as director and associate principal

  • Claudia S. Gonzalez, CPA, is an associate principal and director of private client services in the tax department. She provides federal and international tax compliance services to high-net worth individuals and expatriates both within and outside of the U.S. She has over two decades of experience in tax advisory.
  • Adam J. Lang, CPA, CFF, CFE, CVA, is an associate principal and director of forensic, advisory, valuation services, where he provides litigation support and consulting services. He specializes in complex receivership engagements involving securities and bankruptcy fraud, economic damage and lost profit calculations, and shareholder disputes.

Designated as director

  • Erik J. Christianson, CPA, is a director of private client services in the tax department. He specializes in tax planning and compliance for domestic and foreign high-net worth families. His tax expertise includes trusts, gift and estates, partnerships, and S-corporations.
  • Oscar Enriquez, CPAML, AMLCA, CAMS, is a director of model risk advisory services, where he assists clients in the financial services sector manage risk in the areas of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), anti-money laundering (AML) and Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) compliance. He conducts validations and calibrations of BSA/AML, customer risk rating and sanction interdiction models and has extensive experience assisting financial institutions address findings in regulatory enforcement actions.
  • David Garcia, CVA, CPA, CFE, is a director of forensic, advisory and valuation services. He provides traditional audit, accounting and business consulting services. His experience includes forensic accounting investigations, litigation support services and analysis for complex legal cases, economic damage computations, and forensic investigative services.
  • Marcela Varela, CVA,CDFA®, is a director of forensic, advisory and valuation services. She leads family law engagements, working with clients on the preparation of financial affidavits, child support guideline calculations, lifestyle analyses and asset division. Her experience also includes economic damage computation for personal injury, wrongful death and employment law matters.
  • Joseph Yoh, CPA, is the director of private equity within the financial services assurance and consulting department. He provides audit and assurance services to public and private with a focus on the financial services field, including hedge funds, private equity funds, and real estate funds. His experience also includes benefit plan audits.
