Kaufman Rossin’s Albert Primo Appointed to Xero Advisory Council

Kaufman Rossin, one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced today that Chief Innovation Officer Albert Primo, CPA, has been selected to be a member of the Xero Partner Advisory Council for a two-year term. With his appointment, Kaufman Rossin becomes the only CPA and advisory firm with professionals on both the Xero and Intuit advisory boards.

Primo, an associate principal at Kaufman Rossin who was recently named the firm’s first chief innovation officer, is a technology-minded leader who oversees accounting and tax services for entrepreneurial businesses, advising them on ways to successfully reach their business goals. His technical expertise includes app ecosystem selection and design accounting system implementation and training, and systems conversion/implementation for start-ups, technology-based companies, the financial services industry, the real estate sector, and businesses of all sizes.   He also assists international clients and high-net worth individuals with their tax strategies and compliance needs.

In addition to Primo’s appointment as one of 12 members of the Xero Advisory Council, Kaufman Rossin’s business consulting services director, Scott Soucy, CPA, CGMA, serves on the Intuit Accountant and Advisory Council. Intuit creates business and financial management solutions that simplify the business of life for small businesses, consumers and accounting professionals. Soucy is one of 16 council members who share their insights, experience and expertise to help Intuit develop new products and services for accounting professionals and small businesses.

Soucy’s background includes experience in accounting, finance, investment banking and partnership taxation as well as financial, operational and administrative management. He has worked extensively with closely held businesses in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, financial modeling, corporate finance, capital planning, cash flow forecasting, systems implementation management and international business.
