Kaufman, Rossin’s Janet Altman Named Board Member of the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade

MIAMI, Feb. 6, 2012 – Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, today announced Janet Kyle Altman, marketing principal, has been appointed a board member of the Women’s Fund of Miami-Dade.

Altman has been involved with the organization for the past five years, assisting with planning and communications, and overseeing Kaufman, Rossin’s sponsorships for various events and initiatives.

The Women’s Fund is the only organization in Miami Dade that focuses purely on providing support and advocacy to meet the needs of women and girls. This means supporting programs that provide economic security, freedom from violence, leadership training and, most recently, efforts to stop the prostitution of children.

Altman’s commitment to community service also includes serving on the board of Friends of WLRN, a non-profit fundraising organization that supports the public radio and television stations.

Altman has led the Kaufman Rossin marketing department for more than 10 years.
