Kaufman, Rossin’s Jason Chorlins Wins FICPA’s “26 Under 36” Award

Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, announced today that Jason Chorlins, a forensic and regulatory compliance services professional with the firm, has been named a winner of the “26 Under 36” award presented by the Florida lnstitute of CPAs (FICPA).

Chorlins is the chair of the Miami-Dade chapter of the professional organization, which has more than 18,500 members and is open to all certified CPAs in the state and around the country. The award recognizes FICPA members younger than 36 years old who have made notable contributions to the organization, the CPA profession and their communities. The honorees will be profiled in the March/April 2013 issue of Florida CPA Today.

Chorlins has been with Kaufman since 2007 and is responsible for handling complex projects involving forensic accounting investigations, regulatory compliance and consulting.

He holds a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in accountancy from the University Of Missouri College Of Business.
