Kaufman Rossin’s Robert Kaufman Appointed to AICPA Expert Panel for 2014-15

Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest accounting firms in the U.S., announced that Robert A. Kaufman, CPA, a financial services principal and a director of Kaufman Rossin Fund Services (KRFS), has been appointed for the third consecutive year to the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Investment Companies Expert Panel.

This appointment gives Kaufman the opportunity to guide the direction of the accounting profession, protect public interest and deliberate on key accounting and regulatory issues. The panel provides guidance on financial and business reporting and audit matters.

Kaufman, a member of the group that formed KRFS, provides audit, tax and performance and other attestation services to domestic and off-shore hedge funds, broker-dealers and other CFTC-regulated entities. He has been with Kaufman Rossin for 25 years.
