Two Kaufman Rossin Principals to Teach at University of Miami School of Law

Kaufman Rossin’s Estate and Trust Services Principals Mark Scott, J.D., LL.M., and John R. Anzivino, CPA, will teach a course in the University Of Miami School Of Law’s Graduate Program in Taxation. Together, they will be co-teaching the “Income Taxation of Trusts and Estates” course in the spring semester of 2017.

Scott’s areas of concentration include complex estate tax planning, gift tax planning, trust tax planning, and pension planning and estate and gift tax return examinations. He is a member of the Florida Bar, director and secretary for The Florida Bar Tax Section, and he has served on the Bar’s Continuing Legal Education Committee. In addition, he is the current vice president of the Greater Miami Tax Institute and is on the Board of Directors for the Estate Planning Council of Greater Miami.

Anzivino leads Kaufman Rossin’s estate, trust and exempt organization practice and has more than 40 years of experience in the field. He is the founding president and co-founder of the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Miami-Dade. In addition, he is a member of the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Partnership for Philanthropic Planning, and the Estate Planning Council of Miami-Dade County.  Passionate about education, Anzivino has served on the College Assistance Program (CAP) board of directors for over 30 years, including two terms as president.
