Overview
James Wolcott is a Principal with Kaufman Rossin, leading the firm’s business consulting services (BCS) practice and mergers & acquisitions industry advisory group. He has provided consulting services to many of the world’s leading organizations on issues of strategy, capital advisory and financial planning and analysis.
Before relocating to Miami, James lived in New York for 14 years, most recently serving as a senior advisor within Citigroup’s global operations and technology team. Prior to joining Citigroup, he spent more than a decade working in management consulting and corporate advisory, serving multi-national clients such as Toyota Motor Corporation, The American Express Company, Hershey Foods, Kraft Foods, Merck & Company, TD Ameritrade, The Interpublic Group of Companies among others.
James has also held executive roles with companies ranging from early-stage to upper middle market, most recently serving as chief financial officer of a Texas-based financial technology firm and chief restructuring officer of a Florida-based distributor and manufacturer of building supplies. In both roles he led the companies through significant periods of corporate restructuring and turnaround, which resulted in improved EBITDA margins and subsequent rounds of financing.
