Overview
Steven M. Demar focuses on domestic corporate and individual tax advice and planning, strategic business advisory services, and IRS and Florida Department of Revenue client representation. In addition, he has extensive experience working with clients through mergers and acquisitions. He advises corporate buyers and investors on their transactional and integration needs.
His clients include entrepreneurial businesses in various industries, high net worth individuals and non-profit organizations.
Steve joined Kaufman Rossin in 1979 and has been a member of the Firm’s management committee for over 15 years. He has more than 40 years of experience providing audit, accounting & risk assessment, financial reporting and analysis, and performance & profit improvement services.
He formerly served as Board Chair and Treasurer of Make-a-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida. He was the Executive Vice President and Treasurer of Temple Judea. Steve presently serves as a board member on the University of Florida National Foundation and on the Baptist Health South Florida Foundation.
Steve is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of both the American Institute and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
