California Community Banking Network (CCBN) BSA/AML Forum 2022

BSA/AML FORUM 2022

April 13 & 14 , 2022, Hyatt Regency Newport Beach

OVERVIEW
Staying compliant with the evolving regulatory landscape of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) has always been challenging. With the regulatory agencies committing to tougher and more inclusive BSA/AML examinations, it is just as important as ever to make certain your BSA/AML program is appropriate for your institution’s risk exposure. Amidst these changes, financial institutions also grapple with imminent credit and liquidity risks which, if not mitigated, could significantly affect operations and revenue.

AUDIENCE
BSA/AML Officers, Compliance Officers and Managers, Risk Managers, Operations Managers, and any person who has BSA-related responsibilities at the bank.

Intelligent automation is making its mark on how financial institutions conduct business today. The impact is obvious in how financial institutions are repurposing human capital now that machine learning and robotic process automation are being used to address financial crime in ever evolving ways. Intelligent automaton’s ability to support manual, routine and human decision-making processes not only saves time and money, but also increases effectiveness by allowing financial institutions to better utilize available resources to combat financial crime. This session will explore the challenges and how technology is being used to combat financial crime in the age of COVID. This session will address how financial institutions are leveraging technology and repurposing human capital to maximize their potential while focusing on risk mitigation and efficiencies.
