Blain Heckaman Named a 2019 Ultimate CEO of Miami-Dade

Blain Heckaman, CPA, CEO of Kaufman Rossin, was recognized as a 2019 Ultimate CEO by the South Florida Business Journal.

The awards were presented at a ceremony at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Fort Lauderdale to a crowd of over 300 attendees. This honor is bestowed upon the visionary business leaders and CEOs who have helped shape South Florida’s business ecosystem. The list of honorees included some of the most influential executives from Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

As the CEOs accepted their awards, they were challenged to donate $75 to United Way for every 15 seconds they went over the two-minute limit on their speeches. Even those who adhered to the time limit pledged donations, leading to a total of over $23,000 raised at the event.

Heckaman has helped position Kaufman Rossin as one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S. He oversees the firm’s strategic vision, growth plans and innovation initiatives. He was recognized by the South Florida Business Journal as a Power Leader in 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. He is a past chairman and current board member of Voices for Children, and a member of the Strategic Forum.
