Kaufman, Heckaman Recognized as Top 100 Power Leaders in Accounting

Kaufman Rossin’s CEO and Founding Principal James Kaufman, CPA, and Managing Principal Blain Heckaman, CPA, were named “Top 100 Power Leaders in Law and Accounting” for 2015 by the South Florida Business Journal.

The list comprises power players in the law and accounting industries in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. It recognizes the men and women who have made notable contributions in their respective fields in the past year that have contributed to South Florida’s business economy.

Kaufman co-founded the firm in 1962 and has since grown it into one of the top-rated public accounting firms in the country. He has been recognized as a Top 100 Power Leader in Accounting by the South Florida Business Journal in 2013 and an Elite Managing Partner  by Accounting Today. Heckaman joined the firm more than 30 years ago and became the managing principal in 2012. He was named to the South Florida Business Journal’s Top 100 Power Leaders list in 2014 and 2015.
