Kaufman Rossin Launches Business Recovery and Resiliency Services
Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida and one of the top 100 CPA and advisory firms in the U.S., announced today the launch of a multi-disciplinary suite of services designed to help clients tackle the financial and operational challenges posed by the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In nearly 60 years of rising and falling economic conditions, we’ve learned what clients need to survive and thrive,” said CEO Blain Heckaman. “The current situation, though certainly extraordinary, brings us to the same conclusion we reached when facing the devastation of Hurricane Andrew, the financial crisis of 2008, and other difficult times. We must align our resources – information, tools, networks – to meet our clients’ needs.”
Practice specialists from across the firm and from affiliate Kaufman Rossin Wealth have come together to form a Business Recovery and Resiliency team, to help business leaders anticipate, address, and mitigate risks and position their businesses for future success. Services include cash and liquidity management consulting, restructuring/turnaround advisory, and tax consulting, to help companies take advantage of the relief offered by the CARES Act. Added business continuity services include process redesign, remote environment road-mapping, and cyber risk and control activities. Firm professionals will also help clients prepare to submit compelling business interruption claims, where appropriate.
Kaufman Rossin’s history of organic growth in South Florida puts it in a unique position to address challenging conditions. As the market has evolved, the firm has added services, like regulatory compliance services for the growing international banking segment, and family office services for high net worth individuals. Principal James Wolcott, who joined the firm to lead the business consulting practice and now champions this new service team, put it this way: “As client needs arise, Kaufman Rossin steps up to help them.”
