Kaufman Rossin Promotes Four to Associate Principal

Kaufman Rossin, one of the largest independent accounting firms in Florida, announced today that Lazaro Escandel, Robin Dechert, Denise Shweky and Albert Primo have been promoted to associate principal. All were previously managers or directors in their departments.

Escandel, CPA, has been with the firm since 1996 and works in the assurance services department. He leads audit engagements and performs related assurance services for private and public companies in a variety of industries.

Dechert, CPA, is a member of the firm’s entrepreneurial services department where she focuses on commercial real estate including acquisitions, tax-free exchanges and dispositions. She joined Kaufman, Rossin in 2010 with more than 20 years of experience.

Shweky, CPA, also works in the entrepreneurial services department, handling all aspects of accounting, tax compliance and planning and business consulting services for entrepreneurial clients. She has been with the firm since 1994.

Primo is a member of the firm’s financial services tax department and handles tax services for entrepreneurial businesses, including international clients and clients in the entertainment/music industry. He started at the firm in 1997.
