Kaufman Rossin’s Carlos Somoza to Discuss Doing Business in Mexico
Carlos Somoza, J.D., LL.M., an international tax principal with Kaufman Rossin, will be a panelist at HSBC’s “Doing Business in Mexico” panel on November 14, 2014, at The Viceroy Miami.
The panel will discuss the Mexican economy, including emerging trends in the automotive, manufacturing, information technology and tourism industries; the benefits of regional supply chains; the current legal environment; and Mexico’s attractiveness as a destination for foreign investors. Somoza will provide information about the U.S. tax implications of doing business abroad.
Somoza has 17 years of experience in federal income, gift and estate taxation. He provides international inbound and outbound planning for U.S. and foreign multinational corporations, including foreign tax credit planning and structuring.
