Overview
Scott F. Berger is a leader in Kaufman Rossin’s tax and entrepreneurial services practice. He has extensive experience advising clients on tax planning and tax compliance strategies and helping them achieve their business objectives.
In addition to providing tax consulting and compliance services, Scott assists clients with Internal Revenue Service and state taxing representation, including examination and collection matters.
Since joining Kaufman Rossin in 1984, Scott has worked with clients in a range of industries including banking, construction, healthcare, real estate, and wholesale and distribution. Scott also provides entrepreneurial services to professional services, lawyers and professional athletes.
Scott’s expertise has led to interviews regarding the management of tax issues and changes in tax laws. A frequent speaker and author, he has been featured in publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, the Wall Street Journal, CNBC, Business News Daily, Entrepreneur magazine and more.
He is active in the community and passionate about giving back. Scott serves on the Executive Committee of the Anti-Defamation League, and is a member of their Professional Advisory Committee and Regional Board. Scott is a Certified Public Accountant in Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Florida Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
